Italian Meat Sauce
Ground Italian Sausage. What to do with it? My favorite go to is Meat Sauce with Spaghetti. I personally make our Spaghetti Sauce from Scratch with our Tomatoes from the garden by Canning in the late summer. You don't have to can in order to have a great quick family meal. Use your favorite brand sauce with Rax and Trax Italian Sausage!
1lb Rax and Trax Italian Sausage or Ground Beef
24-48oz of Spaghetti Sauce
1 Medium Onion...
1 Medium Red, Yellow, or Green Pepper (optional)
2tsp Minced Garlic
1tsp Oregano1tsp Basil
Order is everything when you are making Sauce! Seasonings, Garlic, and Onion all cook at different speeds making timing of adding your ingredients crucial to the final flavor of your sauce
Brown the Rax and Trax Italian Sausage
Add 1 Minced Medium Onion
Dice Red, Yellow, or Green Pepper and add to pan
Add Minced Garlic Sautee together until garlic is fragrant but not browned
Add Sauce (24 oz for smaller portion up to 48oz for large)
Add Oregano, Basil, Salt and Pepper to taste
Simmer on low covered for 20 min - 30 min
Serve over your favorite pasta!
